I loved the hospitality of Avalon and Rudi!
Both are great hosts. I felt welcome from the very first moment.
It was a great pleasure for me to share time and experiences with both.
They picked me up at the bus stop when I arrived, showed me the surroundings and drove me to the bus stop again when I left.
They made the breakfast a great happening with talks about experiences of other travellers and their own experiences.
The breakfast itself was excellent with a great variety of bread, muesli and cereals, yoghurt, fresh boiled eggs and an amazing fruit salad with fresh fruits.
Not to forget coffee, tea, orange juice. The house and the rooms are so beautiful. Palm Beach is a great place to be! Pittwater and Ocean Beach were both easily accessible and are in walking distance.
The way back via the stairs is a bit exhausting. But for me was it the perfect walk after dinner. Thanks for this wonderful end of my trip!. Absolutely perfect for my last 6 days in Australia

What’s not to like? Great location, warm and friendly hosts. It was like spending a couple of days with friends even though we hadn’t met before! Room was spotless, comfortable and had a great view. Rudi and Avalon went out of their way to make sure we had a memorable stay and we loved the experience of feeding the kookaburra family, parrots and lorakeets by hand after breakfast. One of the best bed and breakfast guest houses we’ve ever stayed at, and there have been a lot!

The breakfast was as advertised, being continental. There was ample food which was all fresh and the best brands and quality. Especially enjoyed the gourmet bread and fresh fruit salad. Room was excellent with views as advertised. The B and B was spotless and quiet. Good to have access to off street parking. Loved talking to Avalon and Rudi who were extra helpful and accommodating.

An amazing week spent at a cozy venue with the best hosts you could ask for.
You guys exceeded what we expected for a Bed & Breakfast. Rudi and Avalon helped make our honeymoon comfortable and more importantly enjoyable. Their hospitality is something we will not forget. A beautiful home with amazing views made each mornings breakfast magical. We will recommend to anyone who wants to stay at Palm Beach, this is the place to go.

A must stay ! Rudi and Avalon were so warm, welcoming and accommodating, it was like staying at a family member’s house. The rooms were fantastic, as soon as I closed my eyes I was asleep, best night sleep in a long time ! A must if you’re visiting the area or to get out of the city

Great accommodation with a beautiful view and lovely hosts
We loved our stay here, we had the most amazing view of the ocean and the garden from our balcony. Rudi and Avalon are wonderful hosts and really went out of their way to make our experience extra special.

Wonderful hosts and great accommodation !
Rudi and Avalon were amazing hosts ! We felt so welcomed and that they really cared about us enjoying our weekend with them. They text us and offered to pick us up various times throughout the weekend as we didn’t have access to a car and even dropped our bags to us in the town on our last day.
We got picked up to check in to the property, both Rudi and Avalon drove us around the local area telling us history and facts about the area and showed us where Home & Away is filmed. At the property there was a wide range of kitchen facilities to use during your stay with hot drinks always available. There was two separate lounge areas to use with TV’s, games and books. There is even two massage chairs to use. Our room had a beautiful balcony area to sit at or a table and chairs inside the room if you preferred. There was also a partial sea view and the beds are extremely comfortable.
The back end of the house also had outdoor dining areas to sit at and a fire pit. Breakfast in the morning was fresh and it was continental; juices, yoghurts, fruit, breads, hot drinks and cereals. You were also welcome to take this to your room if you preferred.
We loved our stay here and will definitely be back. You couldn’t ask for nicer more caring hosts. The only thing we didn’t like was walking up the hills, but that is nothing to do with the accommodation, Palm Beach is a hilly place Ha Ha.
